Everything you need to go from your first tap to topping the leaderboard. Five minutes to read, sixty seconds to master.

The Goal Your First Match Power Items The Modes After The Match Your Avatar Tips
1

The Goal Is Simple. Winning Isn't.

Quantum Button is one button and sixty seconds. Tap it as many times as you can before the timer runs out. The higher score wins. That's the whole game — and it's the last simple sentence you'll read.

Because you're not tapping into a void. You're up against a real person over a live video feed, both of you watching each other sweat, and the button isn't the only thing on screen. There are power items to spend, rules that shift, and a leaderboard that never sleeps.

The one rule: the timer is brutal and fair. Everyone gets the same sixty seconds. What you do with them is what separates a rookie from a legend.

Your First Match.

1. Pick a mode and your avatar. Choose from the five modes (more on those below) and pick one of the thirteen squad pets as your in-game face — the one your opponent sees before the round.

2. Invite a mate, or Quick Match. Send a six-digit room code to someone you want to beat, or hit Quick Match to get paired globally. Either way, a secure peer-to-peer video link opens before the round starts.

3. Look them dead in the eye. The live feed is the signature of the game — you see their face, they see yours, the whole match. It's optional (you can play audio-only or silent), but the flinch when you drop a power item is half the fun.

4. Tap. When the countdown hits zero, go. Tap as fast as you can and spend your items at the right moment. Sixty seconds later, the higher score takes it.

3

Power Items — The Real Game.

You start every match with three items and earn more as you play. None can be bought — the unfairness is entirely in how and when you spend them. Learn these and you'll win matches you had no business winning.

🔥

Fury

Self-Buff

Triple tap speed for five seconds. Save it for a comeback from behind.

🛡️

Barrier

Defence

Absorbs the next three items thrown at you. Essential in Hardcore.

👤

Shadow Clone

Auto-Tap

A phantom taps for you for four seconds while you catch your breath.

⏱️

Time Freeze

Sabotage

Locks your opponent's button for two seconds. Watch their face.

💣

Bomb

Damage

Knocks a fixed amount off their score. Reliable, always useful.

🌀

Vortex

Chaos

Sends their button orbiting the screen. They can tap it — good luck.

Overcharge

Self-Buff

Each tap counts double for eight seconds. Longer window than Fury.

🎭

Decoy

Mind Games

Shows them a fake, much higher score. They panic. You don't.

4

The Five Modes.

Each mode rewrites the rules and keeps its own leaderboard. Start in Classic; the rest are where you find out what kind of player you are.

🎯

Classic

60 sec · PvP

Sixty seconds, one button, every item unlocked. The mode most matches end up in.

💀

Hardcore

One miss = out

Miss a single tap window and the round ends. Items become survival tools.

🌿

Zen

Solo · No timer

Solo, ambient music, no clock. Practise and chase your own personal best.

🏃

Marathon

5 min · Endurance

Five minutes straight. Items recharge over the round. Stretch your hand first.

👹

Devil Mode

Rules negotiable

Items rain down, the button changes size, rules invert every ten seconds. Pure chaos.

After The Match — Climb.

Win or lose, every round pays out XP and gold. Wins move you up the ranks; losses keep you on the same rung. There's no losing streak that wipes your progress — you only ever go forward.

The daily crate. Once every twenty-four hours you get a free spin: bombs, shields, free duels, gold, and — rarely — an ultra-rare mythic skin. Login streaks improve the odds, so the more you show up, the more it rewards you.

The ranks. Climb from Rookie all the way to Mythic across the weekly, seasonal and all-time boards:

Rookie Contender Pro Elite Mythic
The Legends board: whoever finishes a month on top of a category is frozen into the Hall of Fame — forever. Be #1 when the month ticks over and you're a legend, permanently.
6

Pick Your Squad Avatar.

Thirteen real cats and dogs from the studio are your selectable in-game avatars. Your pick shows on your profile, on the leaderboard, and on your opponent's screen in the seconds before a round. They're your face in the arena — meet the whole Squad here.

7

Five Tips To Win Sooner.

1. Hold your Fury. The best players save their biggest buff for the final ten seconds, when your opponent thinks they've won.

2. Barrier beats panic. If you're ahead, a Barrier protects your lead from a last-second Bomb better than tapping faster ever will.

3. Watch the face, not just the button. The live feed tells you when they're about to spend something. React first.

4. Not fast? Play smart. Item timing wins more matches than raw speed. And Zen mode has no timer — practise there, free of pressure.

5. Show up daily. The crate and streaks quietly stack the deck in your favour. Free items add up.
